Cancellation

Refund of the penalty applied contractually by AirItaly for the cancellation or amendment to the booking as a consequence of:

employment;

• impossibility of reaching the place of departure of the trip following toan accident to the means of transport during the journey or to a naturalcatastrophe occurring in the place of residence

• convocation for the adoption of minors

• presentation of the request for divorce by the spouse

• theft of the documents essential for travel abroad if it is impossiblefor them to be redone before tplanned departure date


Assistance 24H while travelling

• Operational Centre 24H

• Patient Transfer Transport

• Return of insured family members or travellingcompanion

• Accompanied return of minors

• Availability of interpreters

• Journey of a family member in case of hospitalization of the Insured

• Return of the body 

• Early return caused by the death or admission to hospital of the family membersat home


Medical Expenses

• Direct payment of hospital and surgical expenses up to:

€ 1.500 for Italy destination

€ 15.000 for Europe destination

€ 30.000 for Worldwide destination

€ 50.000 for Usa and Canada destination

• Refund of medical/pharmaceuticalexpenses up to € 500 for Italy destination and € 1.250 for Europe,Worldwide,Usaand Canada destination
• Refund of transport expenses from the place of the event to the first aidmedical centre or place of first admission up to € 1.500 for Italy destinationand € 5.000 for Europe,Worldwide,Usa and Canada destination

Baggage

• Refund up to € 800 as consequence of theft, robbery, bag-snatch, fire, failure to return and damage by the airline company
• Refund up to € 200 
for ‘essential purchases’ following a delay in the return of checked baggageof more than 12 hours


Interruption of Stay

Refund fo the pro-rataup to € 500 of the stay notenjoyed following an interruption to the stay due to:
• Patient Transfer Transport arranged by Operational Centre 24H
• Early return caused by the death or admission to hospital with a prognosisexceeding 7 days of one of the family members of the Insured at home, arrangedby Operational Centre 24H


Safe Family

In the event of sudden illness or incident occurringto the family members of the Insured at home, Allianz Global Assistance willarrange the following services:

• Medical consultancy by telephone

• Sending of a doctor from 8pm to 8am and on public holidays. In the eventof unavailability of one of the doctors partnered with Allianz GlobalAssistance, the Operational Centre will arrange the transfer to the nearest ERDepartment. WARNING: In case ofemergency, the relative or those on his/her behalf must contact the officialrescue services (118 Service).

• Arrangement of specialist and diagnosticexaminations

in case of necessity at the residence in Italy of the familymember, Allianz Global Assistance will arrange the following services:

• Sending of an electrician

• Sending of a locksmith

• Sending of a plumber
